LEGOLAND Windsor: Merlin attractions travel guide
Blog

On my recent visit, I explored several Merlin attractions and the experience was incredible from start to finish. I managed to pack in so many unique activities, all suitable for every age group.

My trip began just outside London at LEGOLAND Windsor, where I spent the day discovering everything the park has to offer. There truly is something for everyone:

šŸŽ¢Rides for All Ages

From gentle family rides to more adventurous attractions, the park caters to toddlers, teens, and adults alike. My personal favourite was the minifigure speedway- two rollercoasters go head to head and see who wins..

šŸ›ļøShops & LEGO Magic

The shops are filled with Lego sets of every kind, and you can even create your own personalised Lego character a brilliant keepsake. The sets range from £10- £900, which is pretty insane but also very cool to see!

šŸ”Food Options Everywhere

Whether you’re after a quick bite or a sit‑down meal, there are over 13 different food options available throughout the park. So if you're only visiting for the day no need to worry about lunch options! They even have a Ben & Jerry's scoop shop on site!

šŸ“±Immersive Experiences

I loved the interactive areas where you can scan QR codes and watch Lego characters come to life. It adds an extra layer of fun to the day. I would recommend any visitors to download the Legoland Windsor app before coming, this shows you everything related to the park and it very helpful when trying to navigate your journey, it's a big place and you don't want to miss any of it.

šŸŠ More Than Just a Theme Park

LEGOLAND also offers adventure golf, an indoor pool, and water play areas, making it a full day out even beyond the rides.

A standout moment for me was exploring Miniland. A mesmerising display of iconic landmarks built from millions of LEGO bricks.

🌲Staying Onsite: The Woodland Village

LEGOLAND has three main onsite accommodations, Legoland Hotel, Castle Hotel and the Woodland Village - I had the pleasure of staying in the new Woodland Village. It’s perfect for families and groups:

-Each accommodation includes a ā€˜daily build’ itinerary with all key times/activities for the day
-Free in-room LEGOLAND gift!
-The children’s room has a bunker full of Lego to play with
-A playpark sits right on your doorstep
-The onsite restaurant offers evening entertainment, making it ideal for winding down after a busy day

⭐Final Thoughts

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to LEGOLAND Windsor, it truly caters to all ages and interests. Whether you’re planning a family holiday, a group trip, or simply want a fun day out, I’d highly recommend adding it to your itinerary.
